Located in a quiet little corner of the Hudson Lane in Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar, Woodbox cafe is indeed a good place to hang out. It is within walking distance of the G.T.B. Nagar Metro Station. Being in close proximity of the North Campus, the place is a favourite among college students and it is always buzzing with energetic chatter.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the overall ambience of the restaurant is casual to make you feel at ease. The timing of the cafe is also quite convenient as it opens up at 11 in the morning till 11 in the night. The sitting area is huge to cater to a lot of people, with a basement and terrace area in addition to the ground floor. Though due to rush most of the times, the service is a bit slow, yet the waiters are friendly and helpful.
They serve a variety of dishes ranging from a falafel to a large array of sandwiches and shakes. The wheat dim sums are certainly a must have and most importantly, all the dishes are priced reasonably; not burning a hole in your pocket. A meal for two there won’t cost more than six hundred bucks. With peppy music playing all times, the overall experience of eating there is very fulfilling.
